Fjordcruise and mountain hike to Vettisfossen in Utladalen
Probably one of THE most spectacular white water valleys in Norway! Vettisfossen is the highest natural white water fall in Northern Europe, 275 meters of free fall. Join us for a full day excursion incl. a nice fjordcruise to Årdalstangen, mountain hike to Vettisfossen where the white water hits the soil and of course warm soup and home made bread at Vetti Gard on our way back. Apprx. 2 hours fjordcruise and 4 hours hiking. LUSTER I INDRE SOGN
is mountain and fjord and wide and good. There are dizzying peaks, a lot of woods and deep green fjords. This municipality is one of South Norway's largest and extends into both Jotunheimen, Breheimen and the Jostedalsbreen. Lustrafjorden is the innermost fjord arm in the Sognefjord, which is one of the longest fjords of the world, and the longest in Europe. Luster is a northern word that indicates 'the warm mild fjord' And everything really looks different from the fjord. Life, the landscape. And you know that? That boats that can go fast, also can go slowly? That being on the fjord on a summer day is good for the soul? The old main road is open and we invite you to join us. |

Steinar has lived in Longyearbyen on Svalbard since 2010. Now he use boat or kayak to the grocery store, no trams available. |
